  Dr. Robert K. Tang began his journey toward becoming a dentist at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, graduating with honors and receiving his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1977. He then went on to study at Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 1983. At that time he received two distinguished awards, one from the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators and one from the American Dental Society of Dental Anesthesiology. |

| In the 27 years he has been practicing dentistry, Dr. Tang has retained his passion for providing his patients with the best quality dental care. With a great enthusiasm for education, he averages between 200 and 300 continuing education hours each year, which is more than ten times the state requirement for practicing dentists. He has received extensive training in traditional orthodontics, Clear Correct invisible braces, implant surgery, implant restorations and comprehensive restoration dentistry. In addition to running his dental practice, Dr. Tang is a clinical instructor at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. He also serves as a clinical instructor (the highest level of membership within the Kois Center organization) through the Kois Center in Seattle, WA. Kois Center is a post-doctoral training center where dentists from all over the world are educated in the latest scientific procedures and technological advances related to aesthetic and restorative dentistry. There are currently only 47 clinical instructors worldwide from the Kois center presently; Dr. Tang is currently the only Kois Clinical Instructor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Dr. Tang is a graduate of the Dawson Academy, and is an active member of the American Orthodontic Society and the American Dental Association. He and his wife Debbie are the proud parents of their son Austin, who is involved in martial arts and is a fantastic artist who enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends. |
